Cleethorpes & Grimsby Group
Situated at Cottagers Plot Equestrian Centre, Laceby, Grimsby in North East Lincolnshire, our group was established in 1986 (originally at Weelsby Riding School)
Our coaches run several sessions over Wednesday and Thursday mornings for adults and children with a wide range of physical and mental disabilities assisted by our dedicated volunteers.
We offer weekly riding sessions on our own 4 horses including walks off the yard into the surrounding countryside. We also hold sessions on our mechanical horse "George" giving new or nervous riders a chance to experience riding without getting on the real thing! There is also the opportunity to train in Dressage and Countryside Challenge and hopefully Showjumping in the near future and our group regularly sends riders to compete at RDA Regionals and National Championships.
If you have a disability or know someone who has and might love to have a go at riding, get in touch or pop down to watch one of our sessions.
