We're all part of the RDA North Midlands Region - every RDA group across Derbyshire,

Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire.

Behind the scenes, a team of RDA UK volunteers - your regional committee - provides

support, training and events for groups across the region. What we're able to offer depends

entirely on the time, commitment and resources those volunteers bring.

You'll know from your own group: the more volunteers you have, and the more they put in, the

stronger the group. It's exactly the same for the region — and it's the region's groups that

benefit when it's stronger.

Could you or your group help?

We're looking for ideas, time, knowledge or resources — a seat on the committee is just one

of many ways to contribute. Many of our current volunteers have been in their roles for a long

time, and fresh faces and fresh ideas would benefit everyone.

We're holding a regional open meeting on Monday 12th October, 10.30am–2.30pm, at Belvoir

Vale RDA, Colston Road, Cropwell Bishop, NG12 3BJ. Lunch is provided.

It's for anyone interested in the future of RDA in our region — volunteers, coaches, trustees

and anyone interested in supporting our region are all welcome. There's no commitment in

coming along; it's simply a chance to have your say on how the region and RDA UK work

together, and to catch up with everyone from across the region.

There's no charge, but it would help with catering and planning if you could let us know you're
